If you have been in an automobile/car accident, or motorcycle accident, then most likely you have some soft-tissue damage that occurred. Soft-tissue damage can happen with collisions that occur at speeds as slow as 10 MPH (miles per hour). If the damaged areas do not get the treatment needed, they can become chronic and bothersome for years to come. In my experience, getting massage therapy right away can often prevent small amounts of tissue damage from flaring up into really big long-term problems. So don't delay on getting therapy, as it can mean the difference between a short term nuisance and a pain that lasts for years. Most automobile and motorcycle insurance cover massage under the PIP (Personal Injury Protection) part of the policy. If you were hit by someone else, and you don't have PIP coverage on your policy, then getting coverage involves more paperwork (but is still possible). Currently I do not accept third-party claims.
