I was having a discussion with a client at the end of last week about food, which is a topic sometimes... especially around lunch time. Anyhow, we were talking about bread, and how some bread is just a joy to eat. I had mentioned that I had found a pretty good whole wheat bread recipe on-line and modified it a little bit which (in my opinion) made it even better. So what you will find below is the current recipe I use for my bread machine. I'm still messing with it to make it better, more flavorful, and more hearty... so when I feel I have found the ultimate recipe, I might post that, or correct the recipe here. The original was found on allrecipes.com, and was called Whole Wheat Honey Bread recipe submitted by MELH. Here is my modified version, which has also been modified into grams for easy measuring (using a food scale)... think of no measuring cups to wash up. Whole Wheat Bread Machine Recipe (makes about a one pound loaf)
Follow your bread machine for order of adding ingredients. Enjoy! If you have any suggestions to make this better, please let me know.
