Human Echo Location
Tuesday, 06 October 2009 12:14

In one of my interesting conversations with clients, one client had told me of a video documentary of a young man that lost his sight early on in life to a rare cancer.  The amazing part is that this young boy (at the time of sight loss) developed the skill of echo location, which we think of being primarily used by bats, porpoises and dolphins.  This young man is quite amazing, and can bicycle, skateboard, run and play games just like others.  Check out the video which is available on YouTube (see links below).  Just another testament that our minds are flexible and willing to learn new things.
