About mark
Mark Pearlscott became interested in bodywork when he first heard about Structural Integration in 1988. What initially struck him was the ability to improve people's health in a short period of time.
In 1998 he decided to pursue the interest, and became a licensed massage therapist with a focus on injury treatment and pain relief. He opened Treatment Massage in 2001 to further his goal of improving individual and community health.

Mark believes clients want to feel comfortable and at ease in their bodies, and he has found that bodywork is a fast way to increase comfort, eliminate pain, decrease muscle restrictions/tightness, improve movement and posture, and improve overall body mechanics and athletic performance. Mark knows first hand how it can improve life quality. In 2003, he had a vertebrae compression fracture in his low back from a dirt-bike accident. He used bodywork to rehabilitate. The experience reinforced his belief in the power of bodywork and advanced his understanding of the body.

Mark works with clients of various ages, from children to older adults. His clients also come from a variety of backgrounds such as Architects, Computer Programmers, Entrepreneurs, Health and Medical Professionals, Mechanics, Retirees, and Teachers.
Mark stays committed to improving the health of others through sharpening his skills with continuing education. He has participated in numerous classes including more advanced and extended training programs. For example, he attended and became certified in Craniosacral Therapy (CCST) in 2023, Anatomy Trains Structural Integration (ATSI) in 2011, and Paul St. John Method of Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT) in 2006.

Outside of his bodywork practice, Mark's interests include keeping up with his family of two growing teenagers, stretching, and hypnosis (he became a licensed hypnotherapist in 2015). He also enjoys reading good books, watching movies, and listening to music.
