What to Expect on Your First Visit

When you arrive at 4500 9th Ave NE, take the elevator or stairs to Suite 358 on the third floor. When you arrive, there's a waiting area where you can sit until Mark comes to get you.

Your first session will include a detailed health history intake and postural assessment before the hands-on work begins. This takes some time — plan to arrive a few minutes early if possible, and budget about 90 minutes for your first visit.

  • Arrive a few minutes early for intake paperwork
  • Wear comfortable clothing you can move in
  • Avoid eating a heavy meal immediately before
  • Drink water before and after your session
  • Let Mark know about any health conditions or recent injuries

First time? The intake and postural assessment takes about 15 minutes. Mark suggests making a 90 minute appointment for your first time in — the extra time goes toward truly understanding your body and history before we begin treatment. See the New Client Information page for what to bring, parking details, and policies.

Building access: The office building has elevator access to all floors. If you have any accessibility needs, please call ahead so we can ensure the best experience.
